Invisalign & Angel Aligner

A Clear and Comfortable Way to Improve Your Smile

If you've been thinking about improving the alignment of your teeth without the appearance of metal braces, aligner therapy is one option worth exploring — in a calm, supportive environment.

What is Invisalign?

Clear, custom-made trays that fit your life

Invisalign uses a series of clear, custom-made trays that sit over your teeth. They're worn for most of the day and night and changed regularly until treatment is complete. Most people find them easy to tolerate and discreet, which supports day-to-day comfort and flexibility.

Is aligner therapy right for you?

  • Teeth that appear crowded
  • Spaces between teeth
  • Mild bite-related concerns
  • General interest in improving the position and aesthetics of your teeth

Suitability varies from person to person. A consultation allows us to look at your oral health and discuss whether this approach is appropriate for your situation.

Your step-by-step process

What treatment looks like

Digital Scanning

We take a digital scan of your teeth, which forms the basis for creating your personalised aligners.

Wearing Your Aligners

Each set is generally worn for 1–2 weeks, for about 20–22 hours per day.

Gradual Alignment

Your teeth move gently over time. Treatment duration varies but often ranges between 6–18 months.

Regular Check-Ins

Progress is reviewed at scheduled appointments with Dr Deepa Iyer (Dee) and our dental team.

Invisalign questions

Frequently asked questions

How do aligners straighten teeth?

During treatment you receive a series of clear aligners, each designed to make small, gradual adjustments to the position of your teeth. Worn as directed, they gently guide the teeth toward the planned alignment, with new aligners usually supplied every one to two weeks depending on your treatment plan.

How long does the process take?

Treatment duration varies from person to person, depending on the type and extent of tooth movement required and your oral health. Many adults complete treatment in approximately 12–15 months. Aligners work most effectively when worn 20–22 hours per day.

Do I have to give up certain foods?

One benefit of clear aligners is that you remove them while eating, so you can continue enjoying a wide range of foods and avoid damage from hard, sticky or chewy foods. It's normal to feel some pressure when switching to a new set. Brush your teeth after eating before putting the aligners back in.
